My nanababa, Mohammad Asadullah was one of Moulvi Mohammad Nizamuddin\u2019s grandsons.
He was the middle of 3 sons of Aziz Jung Bahadur\u2019s younger brother Mohammad Ahmedullah, who passed away at a young age and left behind his three sons \u2014 Mohammad Habeebullah (Durdana\/Farzana\u2019s) grandad , Mohammad Asadullah (my nanababa), and Mohammad Valiullah (Zafar\u2019s father).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aziz Jung Bahadur brought up his 3 nephews and they were married to Aziz Jung\u2019s 3 daughters. My nanimaan, Mumtazunnisa Begum was Aziz Jung\u2019s fifth daughter.
He, (my nanababa) was the much loved \u2018 Babajaan\u2019 to his 3 daughters Akhtar, Iqbal and Shakira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was blessed to spend my early adolescent years with my grandparents in Aziz Bagh and to have some very precious and treasured memories of my nanababa. I named my son Asad after him.
My nanababa who worked for Nizam Trust \/ Sarfikhaas was privileged to be sent by Nizam to Mecca with the honour and lifetime opportunity to enter & clean the Kabaah. I remember the conversations about his proud experience with his murshad \u2018 Hazrat Khibla\u2019 and with other family members. How I wish I had more detailed memories about this. There was a piece of Kabaah Gilaaf framed on his wall.
My nanababa was a very pious person. He was loved and respected by all family. He was known for his good humour, his cheerful and sociable personality. He had such a unique knack of picking out the Best in others.\u00a0
I do not wish to make this too long but wish to end by expressing my intense pride of these incredible personalities of our Aziz Bagh family tree who were our most treasured jewels and who left behind their footprints for the younger generations to remember, to reflect and to be inspired .
May Allah SWT grant all our elders the highest place in jannatul firdaus. Aameen
